I just registered. Why do I not have a blog yet?
It takes two full days for your blog to start appearing. This is because we have to gather enough data to see when things have changed. The first day puts all of your game data into our system. The next day allows us to see what has changed and generate your first blog entry. If you have waited two days and still do not have a blog entry, try waiting three... if you happen to register right at the cut off for the nightly blog creation, it will take an extra day.

My blog is not seeing any of the games I play.
First, make sure that your gamercard privacy settings are set to "Everyone" in the Xbox Live dashboard. If it is not set to Everyone, our processor cannot see what you play.

Second, the 360voice blog does not see original/backwards compatible Xbox games, only Xbox 360 games. Games like Halo 2 will not appear in your blog, only 360 games.

Can the blog see anything else I do? Movies? Music? Etc?
No... the only thing we can see is the 360 games that you play. Everything else is a carefully crafted illusion!! Muhahaha!

Can I delete my blog?
Yes, send a private message to ChangeAgent via Xbox Live from the gamertag that you want to delete from the system. This is the only way we can verify that you own the gamertag you are asking to delete.

I paid the 800 points to change my gamertag. What happens to my blog?
If you change your gamertag, we are afraid you will need to recreate your blog. This will cause you to lose all your entries as well as any badges that you might have gotten. This is because we store a TON of data that is all linked together by gamertag. The process to go through and rename everything would be extremely complicated and we just haven't gotten around to writing something like that! Sorry!

I know that I played yesterday but my blog says I didn't! What happened?
We honestly don't have a ton of control over this sometimes. There have been many days when I play a game and get achievements, but Microsoft does not publish that to the feed that we use until the next time I start up the game. I find this to be the case if I exit the game without first returning to the dashboard (for instance powering it off in the middle of a game) or if I play OVER the midnight PST cut off that we use to break up the days for processing.

For the most consistent results, I would suggest you ALWAYS log out of the game you are playing BEFORE 11pm PST.. and do this by exiting from the game to the game's main menu and then exit to the dashboard. That should give the game plenty of time to communicate all of your achievements to Xbox Live and an hour for those communications to make themselves into the feed we use for the blog processing.

Because we are using a web service that MS provides, the resolution is fairly inaccurate... but we are doing the best we can to make it as consistent as possible.

A user also uncovered the following behavior that may contribute to Xbox Live not seeing the games you play:

If you sign in to X-Box Live after you start a game, not in the the Dashboard itself, sometimes it won't register that you played. When you sign in from the Dashboard first, then start the game up, it registers correctly.

So if you are really trying for streaking badges or something, try the above steps for the most consistent blog behavior. Those Xboxs can be fickle and when they tell us what.

Another suggestion is that before you play any games, play an arcade game real fast (Geometry Wars or Frogger or something) before you start playing a long retail game session... this will ensure that you get at least one game to register on Xbox Live so that Microsoft sends the game data to us in time for the nightly processing.

Yeah a while ago I tried registering my gamertag as Soldiercloud9 but I did not know my e mail was inactive so I am unable to activate it. I have came up with a new address but I feel its unnessary to state the address here if its possible can someone contact me on my gamertag so I can give the new address to whoever runs this. I had a 30 day Streak Badge back before some of the badges blacked out. I know that they are supposed to be back, but my badge did not return.
